One of the Board’s key priorities was enhancing financial sustainability.

This included approving steps toward a revised Funding Model to promote fairness, transparency, and predictable contributions across the membership. The Board also undertook a detailed review of the 2023 audited financial accounts, assessed 2024 financial updates, and explored avenues to strengthen ACT’s core financial stability.

Strengthening Member Engagement

To support stronger member engagement and accountability, the Board ratified a revised Membership Model, clarifying roles, responsibilities, and expectations across the Alliance. During the mid-term review of the Global Strategy, the Board noted that implementation was largely on track, with minor shifts to strengthen internal cohesion, integrate decolonisation efforts, and enhance youth participation. These refinements were endorsed, extending the Strategy’s relevance through 2027.

Adapting for a Changing World

In pursuit of operational excellence, the Board approved updates to:

These updates aim to align the Alliance’s governance with evolving global standards and reinforce its commitment to principled humanitarian and development work.

Digital Transformation for Members

A more connected and responsive Alliance through digital tools.

The Board also endorsed the launch of a new digital membership portal, aimed at improving real-
time data sharing, collaboration, and allowing members to manage and update their information more efficiently.
